It is bold enough to not get lost in the milk's flavor, yet sweet and creamy. This is our top choice for making matcha latte at home.

After countless tastings and sending multiple matcha samples to labs in Germany for analyses of nutritional, chemical, aluminium, and residue levels, we hand-picked the very best, high-end organic matcha from the top tea regions of Japan in Chiran, Kagoshima.

Packed with healthy levels of amino acids (L-theanine), antioxidants (EGCG), vitamins, and minerals, it comes in a beautiful vibrant green color that extends to its taste.

Origin

Chiran, Kagoshima, Japan

Our farm to cup Organic Ceremonial Matcha is sourced from the Chiran region of Kagoshima, the largest green tea production area in Japan. Chiran’s balance of nutrient-rich volcanic soil, misty and mild climate, gentle hills, and forward-thinking producers makes it one of Japan’s premier terroirs for organic green tea.

How To Prepare

Matcha Shot: Sift 1 tsp (2-2.5g) of matcha powder into a bowl. Pour 30-40 ml of warm water at 70ºC (158°F). Whisk in fast zip-zag motion for around 30 seconds until frothy and clump-free.

Matcha Latte: Add 200-300ml of your favorite milk to the matcha shot. Enjoy hot or over ice. Add sweetener like agave syrup if desired.
