Ceremonial Grade is ideal for drinking. It is the highest matcha quality grade and is used for the traditional tea ceremony in Japan. Ceremonial grade matcha is known for it's bright green color.

Culinary Grade is typically used for cooking and baking – it has a stronger flavor.
