After countless tastings and sending multiple matcha samples to labs in Germany for analyses of nutritional, chemical, aluminium, and residue levels, we hand-picked the very best, high-end organic matcha from the top tea regions in Japan in Chiran, Kagoshima.

Packed with healthy levels of amino acids (L-theanine), antioxidants (EGCG), vitamins, and minerals, it comes in a beautiful vibrant green color that extends to its taste.

Our farm to cup Organic Ceremonial Matcha is sourced from the Chiran region of Kagoshima, the largest green tea production area in Japan. Chiran’s balance of nutrient-rich volcanic soil, misty and mild climate, gentle hills, and forward-thinking producers makes it one of Japan’s premier terroirs for organic green tea.

How to prepare

Matcha Shot: Sift 1 tsp (2-2.5g) of matcha powder into a bowl. Pour 30-40 ml of warm water at 70ºC (158°F). Whisk in fast zip-zag motion for around 30 seconds until frothy and clump-free.

Matcha Latte: Add 200-300ml of your favorite milk to the matcha shot. Enjoy hot or over ice. Add sweetener like agave syrup if desired.

Entspricht nicht ganz der Beschreibung

Leider schmecke ich den Matcha nicht wirklich raus in meinem Latte. Ich habe schon zwei verschiedene Milchsorten probiert und auch die Dosis etwas erhöht aber vom Matcha Geschmack schmecke nicht viel, unterscheidet sich nicht wirklich von anderen Marken… Ich war sehr enttäuscht da ich von matchasome bisher nur gutes gehört habe. Leider totaler Reinfall. Hab den Support auch schon geschrieben, leider keine Rückmeldung. Entspricht für mich nicht der Beschreibung und werde ihn leider nicht nochmal bestellen…

Schmeckt sehr gut, aber einen Stern Abzug, weil er dennoch nicht ganz an den Signature Matcha herankommt. Der ist geschmacklich und von der Wirkung einfach nicht zu toppen, aber eben auch teurer. Daher ist der Barista Matcha eine Alternative für den täglichen Genuss 😋
